The clearing, where you will get when going along a birch alley, was named after a rare rose of the species rosa gallica. According to a legend, the roses grew from the tears of the Czech brethren before their forced exile abroad. And so the roses provide a unique atmosphere to this memorable place till these days. From May to July, the park is enveloped with a flood of crimson flowers. Since the 1920s, the exile's legacy is reminiscent thanks to the Monument to the Czech Brethren.
